Powder coating application:
Powder coating, literally speaking, is a type of coating in the form of 100% powder.Comparing to Convectional paint, Powder Coating does not contain any liquid
carrier. It is sprayed onto the substrate surface in powder form, then baked, melted, leveled and cured to form a thin film.
There are two producing methods using special effect pigment into powder coating: dry mixing and bonding. When special effect pigment is used, the powder coating producers could face issues such as, gun-blocking, little coating dosage, uneven surface and so on. These issues are universal; it prevents the powder coating manufactures feeling free to use special effect pigments in their designs.
